How do you select a brand from the hundred (okay, that's an exaggeration, more like tens) of competing brand names out there? I could think of some things that may matter to most of us:
1. Quality - Of course, who would want something that will easily break? As much as possible, we want our product to be heavy duty even if it may cost a little more than the others. That depends on your intended use for it, though.
2. Cost - How much are you willing to pay for it? Practicality is important. Think if its cost outweighs its purpose or not.
3. Brand Reputation - When it's recommended by family and friends, we tend to be partial to these brands. After all, that's better than having no clue whatsoever about what you want to purchase.
