Now, I use a scrub to try to eliminate some of these blackheads and prevent the growth of new ones. Ideally, I'm supposed to use at least thrice a week, but I've only been able to do some exfoliating once a week. I know, I know. I should take the time to take better care of my skin. But what can I do? I get so tired some times that I forget to. I'm not sure, but I think exfoliating actually works to keep blackheads away. Of course, I haven't seen some drastic changes yet since I don't get to regularly use my facial scrub. If you're experiencing the same kind of problem, though. You should definitely try it and see for yourself if it works!

I hate having blackheads! I remember the time when I used to wonder what a blackhead is - that is, when I was still young and had smooth and clear skin. Then, one day, I began to notice these black, uh, things scattered around my face. That's when I realized that (wah!) I've grown blackheads on nose and some parts of my cheeks too! I used to scratch them out, trying (unsuccessfully) to take them out. Later on, I realized that I'm just making the situation worse, so I tried to look for some kind of treatment using facial products.

Although I haven't been eating a lot of processed foods these days, I still can't qualify my daily diet as healthy. Why? It's lacking on fruits and veggies! Fruits, most specially. I don't know why I'm not a big fruit lover. I eat fruits, but only once in a while. I'm not the type to eat a fruit each meal daily. Of course, I know I really should. After all, I know from my grade school days that it comprises a large portion of the ideal food pyramid.
Since my work doesn't involve much physical activity, I should really focus on my diet if I don't want to gain so much weight that I would need some good fat burners to shed those excess pounds! Still, it's hard to take a well-balanced meal when you're busy for the day.
What do you working girls do? How do you plan a well-balanced meal, given a limited amount of time and money (since preparing a healthy meal can sometimes be expensive)? Have you tried those healthy meals delivery services? Personally, I think they're too expensive, but I haven't tried it yet so if you have... do you think it's worth it?

Has anyone here tried this? From what I heard, you could really make good money by just taking on article writing tasks. That is, if you have good writing skills and you're able to talk about a huge variety of topics.
I'm thinking of doing some freelance writing myself, when I have enough time to do some serious writing. And when I get the nerve to go through the application process. Haha. The truth is, despite the fact that I love writing and that I regularly update a blog, I'm still not that confident if people actually likes what I write. Plus, I probably have to brush up on my grammar to make really, really good quality articles. :)
I've already seen a site which offers these freelance writing jobs? Care to share more, preferably something you have tried yourself and which is actually not a scam? Comments are much appreciated!

Does anyone have any idea? I'm a big fan of the books, but lately, I've been busy with other things that I haven't had the time to update myself on the current happenings in the Twilight world. :) I hope Breaking Dawn will turn out to be much, much better than the previous movies because let's face it - even if I'm a fan of the books, I can't say that I enjoyed the movies all that much. Although I think Robert Pattinson's hot, his acting skills still leave a lot to be desired. And as for Taylor Lautner? Even though he suddenly developed some awesome abs (that's some major amount of hgh released there), I still don't find him all that attractive. Haha.
Still, I'm going to keep watching the movies despite them being lackluster. After all, it's still about the series that made me fell in love with reading again and introduced me to the joy of reading young adult books. And speaking of young adult books, what are the new book releases these days? From what I heard, Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey is going to have a sequel. Yay! :)
Do you know any other good young adult books that are coming out or have recently been released?

We've just started using wireless network yesterday, and so far, the connection's been good! Well, I haven't tried streaming videos while multiple users are in the connection so I guess I still need to try that out before making any conclusions regarding my satisfaction over our choice of router. Haha. I hope the internet speed stays the same. :)
What about you guys? Any experience with converting from the modem type to the wireless type connection? Was there really a noticeable decrease in speed? So far, that's the only disadvantage I can think of with going wireless. I don't have to worry about the LAN cable getting loose from the laptop, and disconnecting me from whatever it is I'm currently looking up on the internet. I could even take my laptop anywhere in the house and stream some workout videos (maybe I could take some pre workout supplements first) online!
Speaking of working out, it's been a long time since I've done a proper exercise. Hmm, I should definitely get back to my plan of getting in good shape soon! :)

This blog has been using its current template for over a year now and I think it's about time to change and spice up its look! I'm thinking... more vibrant colors and (a bit) larger font size! The text seems to be a little hard to read, especially when I don't wear my glasses. Whether to use a two or three column layout is another thing I have to consider. Hmm, let me make a list of what I want the new template to look like.
1. Color - I want something bright, though not too bright that it's a pain to look at!
2. 2 column/3 column - This one's still up for debate. I'm currently using a 3 column layout, and it works just fine for me. But I've been thinking of deleting some of my widgets here - like the chatbox - to free up some space.
3. Theme - Well, the look should fit my blog's content, right? But for a personal blog like this one, the look can be versatile. :)
4. Overall look - The look has to be unique and attract attention. Everyone wants their blog to look the best, after all.
If you've seen a layout that fits my requirements, then feel free to comment. Meanwhile, I'm off to do some looking, myself. I'll blog again once I've switched layouts!

I'm currently watching the ongoing Korean drama My Princess, and let me just say that I can't get over how pretty Kim Tae Hee is! Seriously, I doubt if they could ever give her a role that doesn't describe her as just an ordinary girl and not someone who's absolutely beautiful. If you don't know her, look at her picture and let me know if you don't agree with me. :)

Try to look up some more of her pictures on the internet too, I'm sure they'll all prove how extraordinarily good looking she is. I mean, how can you get skin like that? It just looks like she doesn't even have to make any effort or even get some natural acne treatment to make her skin that clear and smooth looking. Or is this a Korean thing? Most of the Korean actors and actresses seem to have really good skin. Do they have very effective beauty products there or were they just born that way?
Forgive me if I sound a bit bitter right now, but I want some of that white, smooth skin too! :)

Yes, it must work. It just has to, so that I can do these challenges that are ahead of me. I know it's kind of cliche-ish, but every time that I'm feeling down, I just tell myself "I can do this! I just have to try and work harder." And though I don't magically get better at what I'm doing, I feel a little better and I get to keep a more positive outlook. After all, if I don't believe in myself, then I can never really do what I need to, right? :)
I'm not saying that only self motivation is the only thing that can help you during some of those moments. You can also ask some advice from your family and friends. I find that advice from those close to me really helps in cheering me up. And of course, don't forget to pray and ask Him for guidance.
Okay, you might be getting a little weirded out by this entry. Why did I write it? Well, let's just say that I need a little motivation right now too. And yes, blogging about it actually helps! Hope it helped you too!

This had been a busy week for me, as you can see by my less than the usual number blog entries for the week. Right now, I'm starting to treasure the weekends as they're the only days when I can truly get a long relaxed and less stressful time. :)
Anyway, I was strolling at the mall yesterday when I saw this very sleek-looking red car on display. It's the new Ford Fiesta, from what I can remember from the banners around the vehicle. Hmm, I wonder when I'll get to drive a car like that? But before I start thinking about that, I need to make sure that I haven't yet forgotten how to drive. Since taking driving lessons more than a year ago, I haven't had any practice in driving at all - which is the reason why I still don't have a driver's license. But hey, what am I going to do with a driver's license if I don't have anything to drive, right? :) I should probably just start saving first to be able to buy myself a car before I start daydreaming about the feeling of getting to drive my own Ford Fiesta. Haha. When I've saved enough, I'll get myself one and promise to take good care of it - to regularly check if it needs motorhome repair, a wash, or anything else that a car needs to get it in excellent condition!
Of course, I still have a long way to go when it comes to money savings, but who says I can't plan ahead?

I have gotten used to sleeping and waking up late these past few months so much that I think I'm going to find it hard to change my current routine. It's gonna take me some time to get used to it, but I'm sure I'll be able to do it. Besides, I used to wake up early during college for my 7AM class, so I can do it again, right? :)
To be able to do that, I need to start sleeping early too! This one's kinda hard to do especially when you have TV shows with new episodes each week that you await. Right now, I'm watching several series, namely: Gossip Girl, Chuck, Pretty Little Liars and the Korean dramas My Princess and My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. Now, even though I'm eagerly awaiting each new episodes of these shows, I'm probably going to have to watch some of the episodes during the weekend to fulfill my goal of sleeping earlier. :)
I'll definitely be looking forward to weekends, when I can watch all those missed episodes! How about you? How do you manage your sleeping and waking up (early or late) habits?

Those who have work from Monday to Friday can finally say "Woohoo! It's the weekends! Time to bum around and do nothing for the next couple of days!" Or if you're the fun loving and adventurous type, then you probably have some travel plan already with you and right now, itching to start your trip!
For me, nothing so grand and exciting, though. I'll just be at home, relaxing, eating yummy home-cooked meals and having fun with my family. :) I might start looking for a new series to watch, just to help me get over my excitement for the next episode of My Princess, which I'm currently really hooked on. If you want to know more about the show, I talked about some parts of it on my other blog. Try to watch it too and tell me what you think of it!
Meanwhile, I'll leave you with this picture and hope that by seeing how cute Kim Tae Hee and Song Seung Hun looks together, you'll decide to watch it as well! Haha.

They say that it's the love month, which I really don't get since February 14 is only a single day. Or since I'm so unattached, maybe I'm mistaken and that there is actually a secret code somewhere that says that February should be celebrated as such? :) Hmm, that's not a bad theory, actually.
Don't get me wrong, though. I'm not in any way bitter over this whole "February is the love month!" thing. Although I'm not say I'm thrilled about it either. It's just one of those things that's just there, and I don't object to it because I just accept it for what it is. Forgive me if I'm sounding too random here. Haha.
Of course, despite being single, I'm still a romantic at heart so I'm still hoping that, maybe, something romantic will happen to me this coming Valentine's Day. This doesn't necessarily have to have something to do with a guy - it might be about a romantic scene I've read from a book or watched from a show or something. After all, there is romance in a lot of things - most of them, unexpected. :)
