However, if you want to build a site for business reasons, it would be better to invest in a reliable web hosting service provider to make sure that your site is always up and accessible to possible readers and viewers. Nowadays, there's no sweat in putting up a new site since there are a lot of web hosts to choose from. You can check out this particular site and see if you'd like to try their managed hosting services. They also offer some colocation plans, if you're interested in them. Hmm, putting up a business site doesn't seem so daunting with all these hosting services available now. When I manage to save up some money to put up my own business, I'll definitely be putting up a site for it as well!

I've been blogging for more than a year now, and I must say, it's been a very rewarding experience. It's a great way for me to unwind and just talk about anything I want to. It doesn't hurt that I'm also happy with where my blog is currently hosted as it makes blogging and customizing my layout very easy and manageable.

Starting today, I am going to be very serious about cutting back on the hours I spend on the internet. Everyday, when I tell myself that I'm just going to check my e-mails and other necessary stuff on the net, I often find myself pointlessly wandering the net hours later. It's so frustrating that I can't seem to stop myself from doing it.
Now, since the month of October is already coming, I can't let it stay that way anymore. Focus, I need you badly now. No more lounging around Facebook and looking for some showbiz gossip online for me now. Haha.
Don't worry, though, I'm still going to blog regularly. I still need to keep this blog up and running! :)

As I'm sure you already know, nursing is currently the most popular college course in the country. It seems like for every 1 person taking up an engineering course, there's an equivalent hundred nursing students. I know, it's a lot, I just hope more jobs will become available for the new nursing graduates soon.
With all of these students, I'm sure there's an equally large demand for some cheap nursing scrubs. If you're a newly practicing registered nurse or doctor, you may want to check out this site that offers cheap scrub tops for those in the medical profession. They look very comfortable and even a bit stylish. Who knew these scrubs could look fashionable? They come in different colors too, which I'm sure every woman will like! They're cheap as well, making them ideal for those that will be newly practicing their professions. The site offers some very professional-looking cotton lab coats that I think would look great on any medical professional.
If by any chance, you (my dear reader) are a medical professional and are looking for some medical uniforms, hope this entry helped! :)

They don't get me down, but I find that I feel a little less energetic whenever they come, especially if its both a rainy day and a Monday. Based from the thunder I'm hearing right now, it looks like today is one of them.
I like rain when it just pours in mildly, like a shower. It's nice to be at home and lie in bed and listen to the the water droplets make contact with the ground (or any other surface). I don't like (and I'm sure everyone else does not too) heavy rains that go on for so long, especially when I'm at a place that easily attracts flood so you'd have to wear rain boots to walk to wherever it is that you have to go to.
As for Mondays, I'm sure students and working people agree with me here. It's the start of another long week and the end of the weekends. Of course, since I'm not a student anymore, I don't mind it that much. :)

My finger just got caught and squished by the doorknob. And as I'm sure you can imagine very well imagine, it was... yeah, of course, it hurt! Now you ask, who does that? Who gets her finger caught in a doorknob? Uh... me, apparently. I guess my clumsy side decided to show itself after being kinda dormant for a period of time. Haha.
You see, I'm not very athletic so I guess it follows that I'm sort of the clumsy side too. I'm not sure, but I'm beginning to think that I don't like sports that much due to my not-so-admirable physical balance and coordination (also known as clumsiness). Is it the other way around? Is my clumsiness due to my aversion to sports? Oooh, that's something to think about. Who knows? Maybe once I know the answers to these questions, I'll be able to lose this clumsiness of mine. :)
What do you think? Do you have any clumsy-turned-super athlete story for me? Do tell!

Sometimes, there are just those things we wonder about or notice - just, you know, random things. Here are some of mine:
- There always seem to be something in the works. What I mean is, there's always some construction going on by the roads I pass by. It's either a repair on a road or a new building. Here's the irritating part: it always seem to take ages before they're completed. So, of course, the traffic becomes congested and people end up late for whatever it is they have to do and... well, you know the rest. They don't even display enough warning signs when they should be putting up osha signs all over the place for the public's safety.
- There's always a new gadget out in the market. Just when you thought that you've bought the coolest laptop with all these amazing specs, you'll see an ad on TV or a newspaper of a new kind for the same (or even cheaper) price. :( Oh well, that's what you get for rushing in. It's better to do some research before you go buying stuff.
- Everyone wants to be a celebrity. Well, who can blame them? They're beatiful, famous AND get loads of money. Enough said. :)
As usual, I can't think of anything more right now. Will put up another list (a sort of part two for this) when I can think of more.

Never ever put your email out on the internet. If you have to do it, do it in this format:
username [at] domain [dot] com
Believe me. I've tried leaving my email in some random site and I started getting all these spam. It's a good thing Google Mail filters them out and puts them in the Spam folder or else my inbox will be filled with these nonsense e-mails and then I'll get annoyed and never open my inbox again. Uh... not really. Haha. My e-mails are pretty important to me so I might still check them out. :)
But really, if you do value your e-mail account, do not (ever) put it in any site that isn't remotely secure. There. I'm giving you advice that I wish someone else had given me before I started leaving my e-mail address out there on world wide web.
Hope this helps!

Since I don't have a monthly source of income anymore, I need to save up. And when I say that, I really mean it. No more impulse book buying for me, no matter how tempting it is. Of course, I'm not making promises. I'm not sure I could help myself if another Shopaholic book comes out this year - which I think is highly unlikely since the latest one just came out a month or so ago. :)
So yeah, I need to restrain myself. I'd rather go for instant coffee than get something from Starbucks or any other fancy coffee house. I must not give in to my craving for a new phone or some other type of gadget. I need to start trying to be thrifty now if I want to be successful in life and be able to buy myself a home, a car, and yes, of course, a necessary insurance like the Medicare part D plan. Okay, maybe I'm getting way overboard here. :)
Actually, this could present some other advantages for me. If I keep myself from buying books (and reading them) that I don't really need as of the moment, I would get to spend more time actually reading some review materials. :) Alright, then!

I'm probably the only one (of course I'm exaggerating here) who does not watch Glee. You know Glee? The super popular show that everyone's talking about? I'm not really sure why, but I'm not finding myself curious enough to try watching a single episode of it. I did plan to watch back then, when the first episode has just come out. But due to some reasons that I cannot remember now, I never got around to watching it. Now that it has become so popular, it seems like my slight interest to see it has ebbed away. Don't ask me why. Haha.
But now that the country's Charice has joined the cast, I'm once again finding myself curious about the show. Don't get me wrong. I'm not a fan of Charice or anything, though, I don't dislike her either. I guess I'm just curious that way. Maybe you could even call it shallow (though, of course, I will vehemently deny it). :)
Anyway, for those of you who faithfully wait(s) for a new episode of Glee, care to convince me try watching it? :)

I'm sure that if you watch Gossip Girl, you're another big fan of the Blair and Chuck team-up. If you're not a big fan, at least you're a bit fond of them? I can't imagine anyone else isn't! But of course, that's just me being biased since I've loved the two of them ever since that first episode of the show!
The new season is off to a promising start. At least, I think so, from what I've seen of the first two episodes. There haven't been any major happenings that will make you go all "Oh my gosh!" nor has there been any new baby announcements, like the one where Georgina Sparks turned up pregnant and claimed that the child is Dan's. Well, we'll still have to wait to see how that one turns out.
Anyway, the point is, this season looks good. The characters are maturing, though not that much, I hope, because if they are, that wouldn't be too much fun now, would it? :)

After such a long time, I finally had the time (and inclination) to exfoliate my face again! I don't know what got into me that I put off doing it for a long while. Have you ever tried it? It's feels really good. I really feel like I'm cleaning my face very thoroughly. By the way, I use St. Ives Exfoliating Scrub. Um, I'm not sure if that's the exact name of the product, though. :)
I love how my face feels smooth and oil-free after I'm done exfoliating my skin. If I could do it to my whole body, then I would! Come to think of it, I think there's already an acne body wash that's available in the market. Is it like an exfoliating body scrub? Hmm. But then again, I've never tried exfoliating my whole body so I don't know if I will like the experience all that much. Haha.
It feels good to do something extra-nice for your body once in a while. Hmm, maybe I'll get a body massage next. Yep, going to the spa sounds like a good plan. I'm so jealous of my friends who've tried going to the spa before, especially since I've never been in one! I heard there are even spas that offer free food (for a relatively cheap price)? That definitely sounds good to me!

Whenever I take a picture of myself, I don't always get that picture-perfect shot that I'm hoping for. Actually, most of the time, I'm not satisfied with the picture I end up with. My eyes always seem to small or my hair's all over the place. Sometimes, it seems like my face is too fat or my body's too small (by this, I mean my height, not that I'm slim or anything) making me want to buy human growth hormone. Anyway, the point is that... I'm not very photogenic.
I'm not sure if it's the case of being not photogenic or if I just don't take a lot of care with my appearance before I take a picture of myself. On second thought, I think it's the latter, since my yearbook photos turned out okay. Well, they were better than usual shots. :)
Hmm, I guess I'd have to take better care of my face first before facing the camera. After all, I'm sure people would much rather look at better-looking photos of me. Naturally, I'd much rather look at pictures of me if I look good on them! :)

I have my own favorite authors from most of the genre of books that I read. But the ones closest to my heart (ahem, sorry for the melodrama. Haha.) are my favorite romance authors! When a new book comes out from any of them, I'll definitely be raring to go read those! Here they are:
1. Julie James
I have yet to read a Julie James book that I did not absolutely love. Still, out of her three books, the one I like most would still have to be "Just the Sexiest Man Alive." It's a very fun and lighthearted read! I'm looking forward to her 4th book - I'm sure I'll love it too. :)
2. Rachel Gibson
Reading a Rachel Gibson has always been a delight. I especially love reading the characters' witty lines. Of the bunch, I guess my favorite is "Truly Madly Yours" since it's sort of has an unrequited love story - which is one of my favorite plot lines to read!
3. Judith McNaught (historical only)
Judith McNaught's historical romances make up most of my list of favorite historical romances ever. It's too bad that she's stopped writing them, though, I do hope she'll write another one again soon.
That's all for now. If another author makes it to my must-read list, I'll make sure to blog about it. :)

Reading young adult books has always been a great stress reliever for me. Every time I read YA book, I feel happy and relaxed and just worry-free. Though most of the time, YA books are underestimated by some, I find the stories behind them to be fun and interesting.
I also read some adult (and somewhat serious) and yes, I also enjoy reading them. It's just that reading YA brings a different kind of joy to me as a reader. It's like I'm in totally different worlds when I compare what I feel when I read YA and adult books. I like them both, though, despite their difference.
Another thing I like about reading young adult books is that they make me feel young. Although I can barely call myself a young adult anymore... well, it's still okay! Books are for everyone! Haha. I know I need a regular those of YA or else I may age easily and need to use an eye wrinkle cream regularly! (By the way, I already have an eye cream in fear of developing some premature wrinkle lines. Haha.)

I don't remember much of what I wrote in the second installment of my things to do blog entry. But here's another lost of what I need to do in the upcoming days:
- Memorize! Yes, I need to make write down all the formulas that I would need to memorize for the upcoming exam. Whoa. There's so much to memorize... so much that I almost don't want to think about it. Haha.
- Vitamins! I need to buy vitamins and take them regularly to keep my strength up so I can stay up late at nights to study. Aside from taking some vitamin C, I'm also thinking of trying out some vitamin E. I heard it's really good for the skin and with all these sleep-deprived days, I really need something to do wonders for my skin. :)
- Lessen the time I spend on the internet and on watching TV. In turn, I need to use the time on doing more of - you know it - studying. :)
- Try to get back to my weight loss plan. This has really taken a back seat lately, but now that I'm gaining some weight again, I need to regulate my eating habits again and do more exercises!

Anyone else missing watching Chuck? Don't worry, cause it'll be back this coming September 20 - which is only two days away! In case you're wondering, I meant September 20 in the US, so that means around Tuesday on Philippine time. :)
I'm definitely looking forward to this new season. I can't wait to watch more of the Buymore staff's crazy antics, John Casey's witty lines, and of course, Chuck and Sarah together! :)
Also, the next episode of the new season of Gossip Girl is coming next week too. It's a good thing two of my favorite TV shows' new seasons are finally here again!

Though most of the time, I find it shallow to keep watch of the latest Hollywood or local entertainment gossip, I still find myself listening to these entertainment news shows or searching for the latest juicy details on the internet. Never mind that some of these celebrities only care about looking good in front of the camera, wearing the best clothes and staying super slim (I don't know how they do it, either they only eat healthy food or ask other people what is the best diet pill for women.). I still find the little stories that reporters always seem to find out interesting and most of the time, even amusing.
Oh well, I guess we all need ways to relieve some of the stress in our lives. And turning to the latest gossip is a sure way (at least for me) to relax and unwind a bit. Haha. How about you? Don't you just like hearing a little bit of entertainment gossip? :)
By the way, this post was not meant to mock celebrities. I just wanted to talk about how I can't help but like hearing a little bit of showbiz news. :)

Yep, every time I sleep, I'm surrounded by books. Only, it's not of the fictional kind. They're purely for review purposes. :) The exams are just two months away. Now, I have to keep myself from panicking. Focus and determination is what I need right now. And oh yeah, something to keep me up until the wee hours of the night.
Now that I'm sure I'll be facing sleep-deprived days in the coming weeks, I need to take better care of my skin so that the signs of stress does not show. Before I know it, zits will be popping all over my face, though I really hope they don't. It's a good thing that there are a lot of ways to treat acne these days, if ever I develop it. Again, I really hope I don't. By the way, if you're having problems with acne, you can click here for acne skin care. You might find something to treat your acne from that site.
I'll be getting back to my reviewers and notebooks then. I hope the caffeine I had today will be enough to keep me awake.

So, I've just read that the 4th season premiere of Gossip Girl aired last Monday. Whoa! How could have I forgotten that? I need to watch it, like, right now! Haha.
I can't wait to see Blair and the rest of the cast strutting of in their oh-so-fashionable clothes, which I'm sure they've acquired with their countless credit cards. Yep, they have lots of them. I don't even have a credit card - still don't have enough money to get one. By the way, I don't really know much about credit cards, but I've read that you can go to this site if you want to get your credit score for free.
Now, I need to look for a site that streams the first episode of the 4th season. I can't wait to see Chuck and Blair together again! Yay! :)

I'm wide awake right now, thanks to the mocha frappuccino I had earlier. It was light-blended, in case you'd like to know, which I'm sure you don't. Haha. Anyway, it's a good thing I drank coffee earlier since I plan to stay up late tonight. Coffee doesn't always does the trick of keeping me awake, but let's see how this one will do.
On to other things, I'm thinking that I need to schedule my blog entries here. By that, I mean writing entries in advance and having them published at a set date and time. I'm still not sure how to set that one up, though I think it'll be easy to figure it out.
By the way, have you guys ever tried scheduling your posts? How was it? As of the moment, I can't think of writing something that isn't totally random. You see, that's how I usually write my entries. Well, not all of them, but you get what I mean. Most of the time, I just type what comes out of my mind. :) Still, I hope you find my blog entries to be still acceptable. If you don't, my apologies, and I'll definitely try to make them better. :)

How do you usually save money? Hmm, let me rephrase that. What do you usually save up for? Do you save money to buy a new phone or some other type of gadget? Or do you save up for something bigger and long-term, like a car, house, or insurance - the prices of which, by the way, you can compare here.
I can't really answer that question since I don't have that much money to save. Haha. But if I do have some money, I would definitely prioritize saving up for what I really need rather than what I want as of the moment. I know, I know, it's easier said than done. Well, theoretically speaking, that's what I think I would do anyway. :)
Sometimes, though, the urge to buy something new and cool for yourself can be really overwhelming. What can you do when that happens? Hmm, just think about how you'll feel if you have saved that money instead of splurging it on impulse buying. It works okay for me. Hope it does for you too!

Congratulations to the UP Pep Squad for winning the UAAP Cheerdance Competition! Yay!
I wasn't able to watch it live (either in the venue itself or on TV) since I attended the Sunday review class for the board exam. (I had to eat lunch alone since my lunch mates have all left by that time - to watch the competition, I'm pretty sure.) But still, I'm glad I was able to watch the replay.
UP Pep Squad rocks! You can never expect mediocrity and non-uniqueness (Okay, I'm not sure if there really is such a word. Haha) from this lot! :)

Let me tell you a few things about me from way, way back. :)
1. I used to want to be a doctor. Yep, I wanted to pursue a health care career and would answer "to help people" whenever people asked my why I wanted to be a doctor. I'm sure every child underwent that phase in their life too. Haha.
2. My favorite food was corned beef. Don't get me wrong, I still like eating it now. It's just that I won't consider it as my favorite now.
3. I was never any good at playing Chinese garter. While all my classmates were playing it, I just sat there, watching by the sidelines. I don't know why, but I can't jump that high!
4. I had this "pose" that I make whenever someone takes a picture of me. Please don't ask me to describe it. Haha.
5. I never thought of being an engineer. I thought it was only for men. Well, it turns out I was wrong. :)
How about you? Any things about your little self you'd like to share? :)

I had to blog to take my mind off things. I'm not really in the mood for anything serious so let's just make this quick and fun, okay? So... hmm, let's talk about food! (Haha, you knew I would say that!)
Here's a list of my favorite things to munch on (or sip/drink):
1. Donuts -Yay! Who doesn't love donuts? I'm not particular with the brand - if it's bread w/ sweet glazing on top, then I'd love it. :)
2. Fries - I know, it's very unhealthy. I mean, think of all the trans-fat that's in it, but hey, what can I do? They're so yummy, and when dipped in ketchup-mayo sauce - just plain delicious!
3. Mocha with whipped cream - One of my comfort foods! I've tried going with the fat-free version by skipping out on the whipped cream, but it just doesn't taste the same. :)
4. Cakes - My favorite ones are the blueberry cheesecake, chocolate cake, chocolate marjolaine (Did I spell it right?), and Chocolate Kiss's Devil's Foodcake. Yum!

I definitely miss watching my two favorite TV shows - Chuck and Gossip Girl. I think the first episodes of their 4th seasons will be starting this September, so it will not be much of a long wait.
I'm missing all the spy action from Chuck. I'm hoping I would get to see Chuck soon, looking really cool and very much a spy, driving a Ferrari, complete with its Ferrari parts. Of course, I miss the comedy part as well. Watching Chuck's coworkers at the Buymore is always laugh-out-loud entertaining.
I think I might have to watch the last episode of Chuck's third season, though. I can't really remember it all that much - except for the major parts, of course.
The new season of Gossip Girl seems exciting too - there's going to be a new angle on the Chuck-Blair team-up (I think), which I'm sure I'm going to love. Who am I kidding? I always like it when I see them together onscreen. :)

I have this problem with my inbox. It's always full - full of random e-mails, most of which, I don't even bother to read. I'm thinking of un-subscribing to some of the mailing groups that I belong to; but every time I decide to do it, I can't go through with it, thinking that I might receive some important mail from it.
As a result, whenever I check my inbox everyday, I have over a hundred unread messages. So, of course, I just mark those unimportant ones as read without reading them. And then, there are the spam messages. On second thought, let's not a talk about that. Haha.
Anyway, how about you? How's your inbox?

Lately, I've been getting really irritated with my laptop. It's really slowly starting to deteriorate. Well, I can't blame it since I've had it for more or less three years now. But still, one can't help but think of buying a new laptop, like maybe an Acer Aspire to replace this slow little machine.
What exactly are my problems with it (in case you're wondering)?
First, the battery is not working at all. It's like a desktop computer. When you disconnect the electricity source from it, it automatically shuts down. This actually defeats the purpose of having a laptop - which is to have a machine that you can bring anywhere.
Also, it now runs super slow. Sometimes, it even hangs for no apparent reason at all. I'm sure you've all experienced this with your computers, but with this one, it occurs so frequently that I don't know when and where it will choose to be reliable for me.
Are you getting my point now? I'm sure you all want to tell me to just go ahead and buy a new one. Of course, I want to. However, I need to save up first! :)

It's about time that I do a blog entry on some of the things I need to do in the coming days/weeks. Not that I'm saying that blogging makes it more easier for me to fulfill them - it's just nice to have it all in writing. That way, I won't forget it that easily.
- Stay away from Facebook. - I know. It's an odd thing to put on my to-do list, but since most of my friends on Facebook seem to be doing the same, I might as well go ahead and join. :) I really need to do this since I have to...
- Study! - I've been saying this A LOT. Now, if only every time I said it, I have been able to do some actual studying. The board exam is coming so I need to focus on my review classes, and of course, on my self-study sessions.
Those are the things I can think of right now. I'll just make another list when I have to add more! :)

Whenever I see boys and girls in uniforms or read how my Facebook friends complain about schoolwork from my news feed, I just feel relieved that I'm over it. I'm over the never ending exams, projects, papers, and reports. Sometimes I think that I would not like to ever go back to it again.
But at times, I miss school too. Yes, I'm actually saying it. Haha. I never thought I'd ever say it, but at times I also think about how going to school is easier than actually having to work, think of ways on how solve a particular task, and be responsible for the outcome of the project you have, which not only affects you, but a whole lot of other people too.
Actually, I miss doing laboratory stuff too, like putting on my protective wear - lab gown, glasses, and safety gloves - and mixing and heating chemicals up. They were a bit difficult, but fun, nonetheless.
Yeah, I do kind of miss school. But when payday comes, I feel grateful all over again, and forget all about it. :)

Yep, it's September already, which means... there's only a little more than two months left before the days. If you don't already know yet, by day, I mean the board exam. I can feel the panic slowly creeping up on me. Wow, two months. I can't believe it it's only two months away.
Ok, I must not panic. How do you even do that? Think of other things? Try to put it off your mind? Only, I can't do that cause I have to think about it. I have to. :)
By now, I'm already planning on how I can keep myself awake for the late nights I'm sure are to come. Coffee? Countless little cookies? That energizer drink (which goes by the name of a type of snake) that everyone apparently seems to think is bad for your health but have at least, once, drank a bottle, anyway?
