1. You begin doodling all sorts of things at the back of your notebook.
2. You keep looking at your watch. And everytime, you see that only 3 minutes had passed since
you last looked at it.
3. Your seatmate asks you what the reporter just said and you can just smile and look guilty since
you've obviously not been listening.
4. Your classmates suddenly laugh and you have absolutely no idea what they're laughing about.
5. You play with your hair, hands, and anything you can get your hands on (well, not anything,
really. :p)
6. You're already planning what to do after class.
7. You're making this list. :)

Nair or Chair?
I've been all for Chuck and Blair (Gossip Girl) ever since day one, but now I'm not so sure anymore. Yeah, they're cute and funny together and all that but, I don't know, it seems that Nate's really stepping up. Whatever that means. haha.

Celebrities on Twitter!
I've heard that a lot of celebrities are on Twitter but I haven't had the chance yet to look them up. Turns out, they're all there! By all, I mean, artists, actors/actresses, and even politicians. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, Luke Wilson! waaaaah! haha.
Here's another dNeero survey where you can find several other celebrity twitters:

Online TV Watchers - Are You One of Us?
I’m sure a lot of us are very fond of watching TV shows online. I, myself, regularly scour the net for the latest episodes of my favorite shows. Why? Well, even if we have local cable TV, most of the shows that I love (Gossip Girl! Chuck!) are aired here way after it’s shown in the US. Yeah, the Philippines are behind even when it comes to television. LOL.
There are a lot of media formats available for viewing your favorite shows. I recently stumbled upon the File Extension MTS, a relatively new format that can play even high definition videos. Since it can be stored in Blu-ray discs (which are beginning to be the latest craze now) and many other players, the File Extension MTS will probably be one of the most widely used media formats in the near future. I hope it does happen in the very near future, so I can enjoy streaming high quality videos. Anyway, if you’re interested in using this file format, you can hop on to this site.
Now, I’m off to look for the latest Gossip Girl episode. Yes, I haven’t watched it yet. And I call myself a fan! Hmp!

Would You Do The Same?
You're on a jeepney, looking at the steady stream of vehicles outside, minding your own business, when you feel something wet hit your arm. It's not that visible but you know it's there. You know you felt it. But after a few seconds, you begin to doubt that you really felt it. Maybe it's just your imagination playing a trick on you.
About 10 seconds later, there it goes again. You look out and (just to confirm it) see that there's no possibility at all that rain's about to fall. You search for something that could possibly cause it. Then you turn and see that there were two men talking right in front of you.
You turn back and pretend (more of hope, really) that it really is just your imagination.

A Commuter in Distress
I used to commute all the way from Cavite to Quezon City. And though it's a long journey, I didn't mind it so much. Then I began staying at a dorm, turning me to the lazy being that I am. I don't understand why just when I've moved into a dorm and started having longer hours of sleep, getting up early in the morning turned into a greater feat for me. But, enough of that since that's obviously not the topic of this post. haha.
So yeah, this summer I decided not to stay at the dorm and reverted back to my commuting ways. It was going well, riding the jeep, the usual. But what do I find at the Quezon Avenue? An overpass. Did they really need to put that up? I'm pretty sure traffic wasn't that heavy there before. Anyway, it's not so much the concept of an overpass that I mind but the construction of the overpass itself. If you've ever seen an MMDA overpass, you'll know what I mean. If you haven't, here's a photo:
The image is from Flickr and I'm in no way claiming it. hehe.

See those spaces between the steps? That's what I'm rambling on about. I mean, couldn't they have covered up the holes? How about those people who have fear of heights (like me, for instance)? Seriously, as I was going up that overpass, I briefly considered going back to go jaywalking. Good thing I didn't. LOL.
Lesson learned? Take the MRT rather than the Pantranco jeep. :p

Nonsense Randomness
When: 1:12 PM, April 17, 2009
Where: UP Katag
What: extremely random and fleeting goings-on in the mind of - well, myself, naturally. :)
WARNING: What follows is my nonsensical and thus, very confusing train of thoughts. Proceed only if you don't mind being bored to tears. :D
_______________________
Well, look here. My pasta comes with a piece of bread, neither buttered nor toasted. Perfect. (I am being sarcastic, if you must know.)
.
I love those dreamy, dreemie eyes...
.
And that voice, I could listen to it forever.
.
Argh. The meat sauce doesn't taste one bit of how I want it to taste like.
.
I don't know, he seems too um, feminine for my taste. But he speaks so well! *sigh*
.
Oh look, there's my batchmate... who approaches me and asks when my birthday is. I answer and he goes away. What is up with that?!
.
Why do I feel like I've been eating for an hour and my food still looks 75% full.
.
I don't know. He has that really slow and gentle way of talking which is just *sigh*. And then those dreamy eyes...
.
A girl goes up to me and asks if we could share in using the table. I wonder why when I see a couple of vacant ones... and just nodded.
.
He's almost like Edward Cullen, actually. Minus the vampire thing and the golden/topaz/amber eyes. And the pale white and ice cold skin, of course.
.
We finished eating almost at the same time. Which means I must eat really slow. Or she's just super fast.
.
.

Brava, Bravo!
You've probably seen this one, but... you'll just have to see it again. haha.
Here it goes, one of the best TV commercials ever been made (in my opinion):
If Pepsi Max can really make me that crazily brilliant, I'd never drink any other soda again. :p

I've Betrayed Twilight
I was going looking through the Maximum Ride official site when I saw this mini-poll going on about one of my favorite couples - Fang and Max. Of course, what else would I do but click click click! What followed was this series of questions, all related to Maximum Ride obviously. Then this question came up:
"Do you think Twilight is better than Maximum Ride?"
I sat there staring at my laptop thinking, well, a lot, some of which were:
I'm not sure why. But one thing's for sure, Max is definitely way cooler than Bella. :D
I sat there staring at my laptop thinking, well, a lot, some of which were:
- I like them both, I can't pick! Wah!
- If I say no, would that mean what I think it means????
- Think about how Twilight made you feel way back when.
- Edward and Bella.
- Fang and Max.
- But then, I have to consider the whole book, right? And not just the parts I love?
I'm not sure why. But one thing's for sure, Max is definitely way cooler than Bella. :D
___________
And I've recently read that Maximum Ride will be made a movie. Weeee. Wonder who they'll cast for the flock?

Enlistment Brings Out the Worst in Me. Or Maybe Just Worse.
As my internship plans turned out to be... well, just that - plans, I decided to spend my summer doing far more useful though not necessarily pleasurable things. I mean, thing. Yep, taking summer classses - which is pretty much my routine since I started college (except for that one term when a massive case of laziness and a sudden love for Jane Austen struck me). Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm nothing if not ordinary.
Yesterday marked the beginning of the summer registration. Same old, same old. Check your eligibility. Request for your form 5A. Chat with others while waiting for your form 5A. If you don't have anyone to talk to, you'd probably just stand there and be by yourself hoping you might get called next (sounds too familiar. haha.). After you get your form 5A (finally!), the magic begins. Or adventure. Or misadventure. Whatever you want to call it, but technically called the ENLISTMENT. (Take note that it comes with 'the'. :D)
Which leads me to the main part of my story. So, we got there (at the College of Science) all sweaty and breathless (and trying not to look lost) and saw this loooong queue for the enlistment. And all my high hopes just went *pop*. Walking toward the end of the line, we saw some batchmates relatively closer to the enlist-er. Then and there, without having to say a thing, we both went ahead and just squeezed ourselves in the queue with them. And well, you could guess what happened next. People behind us didn't do or say anything but I knew we were getting glares from all of them. Waaaah! And this girl behind me started talking really loudly about us. I wanted to get out of there right then. But I didn't, of course. Might as well do it all the way, right?
In the end, we got our classes and everything was fine and dandy. With all of that said, I guess what I really want to say is SORRY! to all those who were there that day. to those who didn't get to enlist as we filled up the slots. :( (On the very off chance that someone from that queue would stumble upon this blog). And I hope you did or will get your classes for this term. :D (I'm actually feeling a little less guilty already. hehe.)

Surprise! Surprise! Well, Not Really.
I'm finally watching my long-awaited Taiwanese drama - Hot Shot. And yeah well, I'm sure it won't come as a surprise to find out that I, once again, am in crush with one of its actors. Guess who? Haha.
The three lead actors are all definitely crush-able, but I would have to pick ---- Show Lo! :)
Weeee. I just love how he acts! Every episode, I'd just be laughing at his funny dialogue and antics! His character actually reminds me of Sakuragi of Slam Dunk, only way way way way.... way way cuter. :)
Anyway, if you haven't had a chance to catch an episode of Hot Shot.... What're you waiting for? You're missing 30 minutes of solid laughs and amazing entertainment. And no, no one paid me to do this. haha.
Till my next bout of kiligness. :)
